The business
Caledonian Sleeper runs overnight trains between London and Scotland, taking passengers from one city centre to another while they sleep. The people on board range from holidaymakers making the journey part of the trip to business travellers who need to arrive rested and on time.
The brief
The campaign had to show three reasons to choose the Sleeper: the comfort on board, the appeal of travelling overnight and the convenience of arriving in the city centre. Those reasons land differently depending on who is travelling. For a leisure passenger the journey is part of the adventure. For a business passenger comfort and convenience are practical.
The job was to give both audiences a story they would recognise, with Scottish warmth running through each, and to produce enough material for the Caledonian Sleeper team to use well beyond the two main films.
What we did
From first frame to final deliveryStoryboarding
We developed the visual narrative for both films, one built around leisure travel and one around business travel.
Locations
We scouted and secured six locations to cover both stories.
Casting
We cast both films to reflect the passengers each story was written for.
The shoot
We planned and ran a three-day shoot across all six locations, with more than 30 cast and crew.
Post-production
We edited both films and handled the specialist post-production work.
Final assets
We delivered the two hero films, a set of cutdowns for shorter placements and 50 still images.

The results
The full programme ran over ten weeks, from storyboard to final delivery: two hero films, campaign cutdowns and 50 stills, all built on one creative direction so they work together across channels.
New Adventures reached 60,000 organic views on YouTube and became the most watched video on the Caledonian Sleeper channel since it launched. Earlier uploads typically drew between 1,000 and 3,000 views.

What we can claim
View counts measure how far a film travelled on the channel. They do not measure bookings, and we did not have booking or revenue data to connect the campaign to sales, so we make no claim on either.
“The team at Move As One were superb to deal with, really going the extra mile and throwing themselves into the detail of the product to learn its quirks and understand how to deliver the message.”
